She laughs softly and then there's a warm feeling, the brush of her lips on his forehead, before she pulls back a little. She takes his hand instead, making sure that he can't get away from her. There's still a small worry that he might attack the man, even though the bloodlust and anger aren't radiating through their bond anymore. She wouldn't care if he killed him, honestly. It's the reactions afterwards that she worries about. Luckily, this isn't the angel's club so he won't have to deal with a pissed guardian, a fallen one at that… But what about the police? And the hysterical people? How could she explain it away, if he killed him?

She wished for him to always be by her side and she meant it. She won't let anything separate them. Not the police, not jail, and she's pretty sure he feels about ten times stronger on that matter. It would not end well if he killed that man, so she keeps a tight grip on his hand and leads him away. "You don't need to be sorry," she tells him, leading him through the throng of curious people. She passes through the dance floor, making sure to do so, so that the sound of her voice won't carry back to him. "After all, it's my fault to begin with. I shouldn't have fallen for you…" She'll have to be more careful in the future. She can't let their bond grow any stronger, let her feelings for him control him again. She thinks that's what happened, that because she cares for him, he reacted instinctively to fulfill her feelings and her wishes. That he reacted violently is just a side effect of his nature.
