For Zexion: Just Before They Start Dating

Yuu rarely pushed the envelope when it came to her affair with Zexion. But lately, that's all it seemed to be: an affair. She wasn't the type to play around when it came to lovers, no matter how it might appear at times. She was loyal. She liked to flirt around but she never strayed.

However, she wasn't content to let it stay like this. She wasn't the type to sit back and watch what she wanted drift away. That's why she felt it appropriate to be waiting outside the lab he worked at late one evening. She knew he worked late, that he was still searching for a way to get his heart back and that sometimes, he didn't even go home. She leaned back on the wall, tilting her head back and watched a plume of steam escape out of her mouth with each breath. It was cold and the jacket she wore would only keep her so warm for so long.

That didn't matter though. She wasn't about to let what she wanted get away.

She nods when he accepts and steals a small. He'll barely feel her lips brush against his before she's pulling back, a teasing grin on her lips.

"Good." She's so pleased. "By the way, I'd prefer the later." And then she turns, heading back before him, although she doesn't walk to fast so that he can easily catch up to her.

The kiss takes him by surprise and stirs something in him. All he really wants is to pull her in and kiss her back, but he stops himself.

Sometimes she makes holding back terribly difficult...

Instead he quickly moves to follow, falling into step alongside her. He makes no comment on her statement. Honestly if it came to that, he'd be tempted to try. He's not sure he can let go now that he knows he wants her. But it seems unfair to ask for her love if he can't return it.

"It's cold out tonight. You should have worn something heavier than that jacket. Are you warm enough?"
